A: 7-10 days with proper care. Q: How should I prepare for my spray tan? A: Exfoliate before your spray tan with an exfoliating mitt 24 hours prior. Shave everywhere you normally shave. No sugar or salt scrubs. No lotions or oils before the appointment except for your face. Q: Can I work out after a spray tan? A: You should try to avoid exercise for the first 24 hours. Sweat can interfere with the development of the spray tan. Q: Can I shave after my spray tan? A: Yes, but it's best to wait at least 24 hours after your spray tan has fully developed. DOS AND DON'TS AFTER A SPRAY TAN * Moisturize after every shower with lotion to keep your skin hydrated. No oils. I recommend Hempz lotion. * Wear loose dark clothing right after your spray tan session. * Avoid swimming, sweating and skin-to-skin contact for at least 24 hours. * Avoid long hot showers. * Pat your skin dry with your towel after showers, do not exfoliate.
